The aim of the Career Route project was to provide my students with an internship opportunity abroad. I believed that an international internship experience would help them grow in many ways, and it did. This internship provided them with the opportunity to learn new things. Thanks to the web design training, they reached a level where they could create a website on their own. In the graphic design department, they learned the finer details of design, which allowed them to upgrade their websites to a professional level. In addition, during the Mobile Application Development training, they learned how to use Unity 3D, one of the most popular game engines today.

After completing their internship, they attended workshops on certain days. In these workshops, they had the chance to discover the differences between the education systems in Romania and Turkey and developed their social skills by communicating with other students. On the second day of the mobility, our students attended an Erasmus Festival event in Piatra Neamt. During this event, they learned about local schools and their projects. They also met and became friends with many students of their age. During the event, a local journalist we met interviewed me about the differences between vocational education in Europe and Turkey, and this interview was published in a local newspaper.

This project significantly helped students to identify their career path and provided them with the skills to take their first steps in this direction. We had a fulfilling and highly productive three-week period with our students.

Hello, my name is Umut Kesen. I am a student in the IT Department at Kınık Vocational High School. My family and I reside in the Kınık district of İzmir. Before participating in this project, I had no experience with Erasmus+ projects. However, after getting involved in the project, I learned a lot about Erasmus+ projects. During this process, I had the opportunity to improve myself in both professional and social life, and I gained experience by integrating these achievements into my life.

I am very excited to participate in the project, I was happy to gain such an experience. The purpose of our project is to improve the knowledge and professional ability of the students by internships in their own departments, but I gained a lot of experience apart from this purpose. How can I live in another country far from home. What are the rules of how to warn, how to communicate with people, even apart from these, how to manage a house, how to be frugal, how to take advantage of the opportunities and to shop from the simplest, I learned how to choose the best for myself by comparing different options. This project added a lot to my life, so I am very happy to take part in the project, I will always have a story to tell.

As part of the "Career Route" Erasmus project, the 21-day internship experience in Romania provided significant benefits both professionally and personally. I had the opportunity to experience a different work culture and enhance my skills by applying theoretical knowledge in practice. Additionally, communicating and collaborating with people from different cultures contributed greatly to my professional growth. Exploring Romania's cultural and historical richness made this journey even more meaningful. In short, this internship added valuable contributions to both my career and personal development.
